Workshop mods not downloading. Tried to download a couple mods from Steam Workshop. They don't download, I read online most people have to open the game and exit a couple times before the mods appear. I've done that. I've started and exited the game multiple times, logged in and out of Steam. Played EU4 for a couple hours. Rediscover the mysterious zone of Chernobyl, the abandoned Jupiter Factory, the remains of Pripyat, vast wastelands and Reactor Block 4.

Well i am not on steam beta and the mods i subscribe too do not download so i tried to install them manually in the mods folder etc and they still do not show up when the game starts. My game was not downloaded via steam it is external. Ah, unfortunately for you, steam doesn't fully support external copies of games. Some Steam users that are trying to download mods from Steam’s Workshop are reportedly having problems subscribing to mods. In most cases, the mod is not getting registered for download or don’t appear inside the download queue. I have an issue when I subscribe a mod from Workshop it doesn't initiate the download. Just thought I would share some advice for an annoying bug with Skyrim and the Steam Workshop not working as intended, as I think it's a common problem but I can not for the life of me find people talking about it. I had subscribed to a good 40+ mods in the workshop but whenever I would start the game the mods would never install.
